Guilt: There Is No More Guilt In Love.

Most times we are conditioned to think our lives by the past event of who we were, because most of us have not be completely renewed in thoughts. But if we have to walk in the ways of God, and live in the realities of His words, we have to understand there is no more guilt in Love.

Revelation 1:5 “…Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,” Sin is a contaminator. It has it’s powers, it spreads through the flesh and it leaves a mark of guilt. But unto Him that loved us. Loved.

Have you ever been in love with someone, and then realize that everything about them is beautiful, pardonable and without wrong? If you’ve felt and thought that way, it isn’t strange, for it is an attribute of love.

For in love, we only see the good, we see with the eyes of compassion, of peace and of mercy. Unto him who found pleasure in my kind of person and wishes well for me in the midst of my mess and messed up self and didn’t condemn me unto death, but helped me stand.

And if He didn’t condemn you back then, He doesn’t condemn us when we are already in his light. Think about it. If in darkness, i was loved and helped out, then in His light, there’s an inflation of His love that doubles for you. Hmmm. Washed us, separated us, released us, unbinded us, untied us from our sins, our trespasses i.e. from our crossing of the boundaries, our guilt, failure, mistakes and punishment.

Two things He did there; He freed us from a nature that held us bound to darkness and then, from the guilt that should have followed our mistakes also. He did it once, to settle us for all times. And He did it in His own kindness, by the extravagant sharing of His blood in and for us.

Now, i know you have messed up and have done the unpure act and realized your wrong, but still feel condemned…. but if He says you’ve been released and untied from guilt, why keep the guilt?

Yes Satan will tell you it’s not true and he’ll speak even through Christians to critise you. But what shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall things present, things past, things ahead separate you and I from the love of God?

Not at all. Then He said in all these things, your mistakes, your challenges, your misbehaving, you’re more than conquerors through Him that loves us, not judge us.
