The human body is a complex highly organized structure which is made up of unique cells that work together to accomplish the specific function necessary for sustaining life. It composes of trillions of cells, each with its own structure and function.

Cells are the fundamental unit of life, from which all your tissues and organs are made, and are the smallest components considered living organisms in your body. Your cells are constantly communicating with each other, responding to your environment and to the signals they receive from what you touch and how you move.

If your cells don’t operate efficiently because of your care handling of your body, and environmental exposure to toxins like pesticides, the functioning of your tissues and organs, which are built of your cells will become compromised, and you can experience a diminishment of physical functioning and the onset of a host of health conditions and diseases. So, keep yourself well nourished.

Eat Healthy To Be Healthy

Eating healthy is not only good, but important for your body to be healthy. The body uses food as fuel; hence, you must remember to eat regularly. Don’t skip meals, and don’t stay for long before eating.

You should also watch what you eat. Eat only what is good for your body such as; fruit, grains, nuts and vegetables. You should eat them most times because they boost the alkalinity of the body and aid digestion. Hydrogenated is a major player in producing clogged arteries, heart attacks and strokes, for the body cannot fully digest it. High cholesterol intake also can narrow, harden and damage the arteries so that there is a restriction of blood flow. Moreover, reduce salt intake because much salt leads to high blood pressure, heart failure, stroke and other complications. While considering the intake of good meal, also understand that over eating is unhealthy as well it causes weight gain and digestive problem such as bloating and gas.

Drink Clean Water. Aside from eating good food, you should drink clean, filtered water all day. An adult should drink between 2-3 liter (roughly 6-8 cups) of water per day. Water keeps your body at the correct temperature and removes toxins that are the inevitable result of metabolism and industrial life. You’ll be healthier automatically. Water also clears your skin, helps our kidneys, helps you to control your appetite, and keeps you energized.

Avoid all harmful stimulants:

Here is a surprise for some. Medical science has confirmed the fact that tea, coffee and soft drinks that contain the addictive drug caffeine and other harmful ingredients are all positively damaging to the human body. None of these contain food value except through the sugar or cream added, and most of us already use too much sugar. Stimulants give a dangerous, artificial boost to the body and are like trying to carry a ton in a wheelbarrow. The popularity of these drinks is due not to flavor or advertising, but to the dose of caffeine they contain. Many people are sickly because of their addiction of coffee, tea, and caffeinated soft drinks.

Avoid alcohol and tobacco:

Alcohol causes long term damage to the body’s internal organs. It is also a major cause of liver diseases and kidney failure. Research shows that 40-50 percent deaths resulting from automobile accidents is cause by alcohol intake. Tobacco on the other hand is responsible for 90 percent cases of lung cancer, hampering of blood circulation, damages to the heart, worsening respiratory conditions and infertility.

Balance work and exercise with sleep and rest:

The body is designed to be physically active. So, to keep your body healthy, you must take time each day to exercise. Physical exercise is very helpful for the fitness of your mind and body. Aside from weight loss, exercise helps manage stress, anxiety, depression and reduce the risk of diabetes. Your body also need a certain amount of hours of sleep every night in order to function properly. After work or especially a trying times, it is important that you take time to rest and allow your body time to recover.

Hygiene:

It is important that you keep your body clean. This helps to protect it against bacterial, viruses, illnesses, and infection. Observe personal hygiene such as washing your hand when they are dirty or after you have visited the toilet, brushing your teeth, bathing regularly and wearing clean clothes, especially underwear. You should also maintain a hygiene environment by cleaning your surroundings regularly. Sweep your apartment and compound, now your lawn, dispose of your wastes properly and wash your bathroom and toilet. You should also net your windows to avoid mosquito bite.

Get regular check-ups:

See your doctor regularly so that he can monitor your physical health and tell you about any change you may need to make to keep your body healthy. Avoid self-medications and toning your body, as well as abstaining from sexual transmitted diseases.

Avoid high risk behaviors:
