Those considering a career in business should develop a set of realistic goals. It is additionally beneficial if goals can be ranked in order of importance – this may include aspects such as desire annual income, location or personal fulfillment.

2. Learn To Recover Quickly,And You’ll Always Be Successful

One of my toughest time in business is the outcome after I have given in much investment and had a complete loss. But then I realize though times can become opportunities to learn and grow my business. Sometimes life pulls a Mike Tyson and chews on your ear, or throws you a curveball, right in the eye. There are people who never get up off the ground when life hit them in the stomach, but the good ones always do.

Take example like big business men like Donald trump the current president of America, or Dangote, they often get hit, but the ability to get up is what make them become even stronger than they were before the difficult times. The ability to recover quickly, despite whatever challenges or obstacles are in your path – that is the key ingredient in success.

3. Set A Business Goal And Stick To It

Years back I realize “One thing at a time, more to achieve.” You cannot achieve your goal in business or applicable to life if you pursue everything that comes your way at the same time. You’ll lose all in a swift. Why is because you not focus and you have loos the energy obtain deeper knowledge of how things works.

So, choose a single-minded career goal, stick to that goal throughout your career, and stay within your chosen functional area of business industry.

Selecting such a goal early in your working life will greatly ease the process of making career decisions. Of course, one of the hardest parts of this plan is to figure out tin what field you will be the happiest – accounting marketing, finance, manufacturing and – therefore where’ll excel.

Once you choose your field, in most cases, you will be more successful in the long run if you stick to one functional area and related industry.

4. Ask Questions And Work Hard

Nothing works by mistake or by luck in business. Everything is a deliberate input to achieve successful results.

When I started blogging, I was not informed of most of the technical aspect, but the abilities to ask questions, search for technical solution that include (videos and articles), and asking friends on social network whom I considered to be in same industry placed me in a place of advantage.

Young men and women beginning their careers should work hard, get to know every aspect of the business and always ask questions. While don’t be afraid to ask for help if you cannot or can’t afford it at the current moment.

Remember, wisdom is getting knowledge, while understanding only comes by knowing how things works. The wisdom and guidance have help me model hkitnob and has also helped me grow as a leader.

5. Learn the two most important words In Business

The two and most important words in business is “No and Free.” Use it for your own advantage and not for selfish reasons.

Whether you run a small private business or a large corporation, the words no and free impact success every day.

No is the best word in the business vocabulary. If you are not willing to say no to bad business, no to poor deals, and not to poor returns in order to focus on better opportunities, you cannot win. It is amazing how few people can deliver a sustainable no and move on to successful investment.

Free is the worst word in business. If you have value, charge for it. If the value can’t be sold, you either have poor sales people and approaches or you really don’t have value you think you have. [ 15 Important Things That Determines Business Growth, Progress  ]

6. Learn from your Business mistakes and move forward

Dwelling in the past failed mistake business, is living in the past which cannot take you to a present future for your business. Dwelling in the past is a wilderness mentality where by the Israelite suffered for many years because they were not renewed in their mindset and thoughts.

So, we you will have to grow… In business learn to move and see ahead.

According to Exodus 14:13 says, And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more forever. 14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. 15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward.

I have always been a risk taker in heart because I have consistently learned from my mistakes, and to me, even if they’re costly and some of them have been – if I learn some things new, I consider it a positive experience.
