Position Title: Clerk for Culture and Information, and General Affairs (Local Staff)

Task and service:

Support for Japanese diplomat’s tasks
Management of the Embassy’s HP and SNS accounts.

Responding to incoming inquiries.

Collecting information about Japan in Nigeria and making a report.

Arrangement of necessary appointments.

Doing any other assignments requested by Japanese diplomats.

Support for other sections’ tasks based on the necessity.

Salary, Bonus and Allowance (*2): Depending on skills and experiences.

Job Environment: Full-time (38hours 45minutes /week) (*3)

Working Hours: Mon -Thu: 8:00 to 17:30 (Lunch break: 12:00 to 13:00), Fri: 8:00 to 12:45

Annual leave and Holidays: Provided in accordance with internal regulations.

*1:Renewable and subject to 3 (Three) month probationary period

*2: To be announced to the successful candidate when the Embassy agree to recruit.

*3:Overtime work (including evenings, weekends and/or holidays), and response to urgent summons will be required from time to time.

2. Essential Qualifications

Citizen of Nigeria or non-Nigerian with required residency status for employment with the correct visa or work permit.

Nigerian National Identity Card and/or International passport holder.

University degree or equivalent qualifications.

Knowledge of HTML.

Being proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Being proficient in using SNS (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)

Excellent communication, planning and group working skills in English.

Knowledge of Japan and Japanese culture is an added advantage. Work experience in similar field will be taken into consideration.

About the Job

We Offer A salaried post:

According to experience from 2000 euros gross per month, plus 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly, and a monthly Per Diem.

As a special benefit for the Nigeria mission from the 1st of January until the 30th of June 2017, each expatriate will receive 500 euros on his monthly gross salary.

Accompanied with 600 usd monthly per diem.

/strong>Social and Medical Cover:

Vacation:
